Vignoble Le Mernois
Established on reclaimed tobacco, about 45 minutes from Montreal, Vineyard Mernois takes root in 2004. These noble and fertile experience a renaissance. Rich sediment left by the passage of the Champlain Sea and levels of silica sol create a special atmosphere, conducive to the cultivation of the vine.
Established in 2004 with 5600 vines, the Vineyard Mernois continued its expansion by adding 4500 new vines in 2007. selected cultivars are hardy and can withstand the northern climate of the beautiful region of Lanaudière. In 2010, the expansion continues with the addition of 4,500 new plants including 200 Merlot vines.
Advice Jean Berthelot, well known in Quebec winemaker, allowed owners to develop a good range of wines including: Holes of Phine (red wine), Côte d'Alban (white wine), Florisca (rosé) Terratabac (red wine) and panties wood (red and rosé wines fortified).
