Artevino and Maple Creek Winery
Artevino wines are limited-production, high-quality, hand-crafted, award winning wines. They source the grapes from sustainable or organic vineyards in Mendocino County and they blend with Estate grown grapes or produce a single varietal depending on what will make the best tasting wine. Artevino is a blend of passions - Art & Wine. The beautiful Artevino art nouveau influenced labels were designed by owner/artist/winemaker Tom Rodrigues and feature his vineyard series paintings.
Maple Creek Ranch boasts 180 acres, 7 springs, natural gardens and fruit orchards. They have edible mushrooms and wild boar and wildlife and an abundance of fresh food and water on this land. They are sustainable and herbicide and pesticide-free. Recently they felled five 100' fir trees that were dead and dying (of natural causes) and we milled the wood to be used for building a new winery in the future. The rest of the land is pasture land, indigenous oak trees, madrone trees, buckeyes and fir. And of course, we have two miles of Maple Creek running through the property. It is often that they sit down to dinner with friends and all of the food and wine on the table come from the bounty of Maple Creek.
