Óbidos is a charming, picturesque town located in the Leiria district of west-central Portugal. It is renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture and historic sites, earning it the nickname of "Wedding Present Town" due to a past tradition where Portuguese queens were gifted the town as part of their dowry.
