Dão - Besteiros is a wine producing region in Portugal. It is notable for the Dão-Besteiros Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), a designation that signifies high-quality wines produced following established traditions and practices.
The region is located inland of Porto in the northern part of Portugal and is more specifically situated at the southeast of Dão. As part of the broader Dão-Lafões subregion, it's one of 16 municipalities that make up the district of Viseu.
