Washington State, particularly the Columbia Valley, produces excellent Merlot, Syrah, and Riesling.
New York's Finger Lakes region is known for its Riesling and Gewürztraminer, thriving in the cool climate. The Texas Hill Country is gaining recognition for its Tempranillo and Viognier. Virginia, with its Monticello AVA, offers a variety of wines, including Viognier and Cabernet Franc. Each region contributes to the rich tapestry of American viticulture, showcasing a range of terroirs and winemaking styles.
