Idaho is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is bordered by the Canadian province of British Columbia to the north, Montana to the east and northeast, Wyoming to the east, Nevada and Utah to the south, and Washington and Oregon to the west.
The state's capital and largest city is Boise, which is located towards the southwestern part of the state. Other prominent cities include Nampa, Meridian, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, and Coeur d'Alene.
Idaho is well known for its mountainous landscapes, and it is home to some of the largest unspoiled natural areas in America. Idaho's population is primarily Caucasian, with a significant Latino minority. Additionally, the state has the second largest population of Basque Americans, trailing only California.
