Split Rail Winery
Split Rail winery was propagated from the minds of a new generation of drinker. We create wine that is spawned from whimsy, driven by the soil that you stand upon, and conceptualized from the mindset that we all like what we like, not what we're told to like. We hope that together we can make wine-drinking part of the common good; a betterment of character. Together we drink, for mankind. We make wine that stampedes local agriculture, makes you giggle, and warms your heartache. Lets not folly, instead, lets cultivate a vibrant wine culture in Idaho. Make local really mean local, like driving 30 miles to pickup grapes. Now that brings the farm to your glass. Brings the soil to your lips. That, my friend, is our parable. Idaho-at-heart and not without soul. That said, our goal is to keep Idaho's lips red and our hair and minds in temporary disarray. Drink local and be proud! Raise your fist and pump it wildly as you swallow. Finish a few bottles and run with the wolves. Follow this routine, and Split Rail wines will slowly replace your afternoon tea or your morning coffee. They will become your sustenance and your hydration. They will replace your milk mustache with chin stains and a discolored tongue. Let our wines leave a mark.
