Located just outside of Penticton’s downtown core at the gateway to the Naramata Bench, Upper Bench offers a unique opportunity to experience our two passions: wine and cheese. Award-winning winemaker Gavin Miller and our dedicated vineyard crew are committed to producing quality wines that showcase the varietal’s character from our seven-acre, seven varietal vineyard. We also hand-craft our own line of gluten-free artisan Brie, blue, and washed-rind cheeses using 100% Canadian pasteurized cow’s milk. A visit to our picturesque patio here at Upper Bench Winery & Creamery is the perfect addition to your itinerary during your stay in the beautiful Okanagan. Experience Gavin’s wines perfectly paired with his wife Shana’s highly acclaimed hand-crafted cheeses, all while enjoying our sunny Naramata Bench patio. Can’t stay long? Take one of our picnic boxes complete with our wine and cheese wherever the day takes you. You may even get to meet our vineyard pups, so be sure to keep an eye out for our two border collies Bella and Emma. Upper Bench is also family friendly and accessible to all.
