Shumi Winery

Wine Company SHUMI situated in the historical center of Georgian wine-making Tsinandali Village, region Kakheti. “Shumi” title has an old origin, which means genuine, pure, undiluted wine. The company owns vineyards and vineyard prospects in all major vine-making microzones of Georgia. The assortment of the company includes red and white, dry and naturally semi sweet wines, organic (bio) wine, wine brandies, “Chacha” (grappa), etc. A private museum of Wine and Vine was created on the territory of the winery where 294 unique indigenous sorts of Georgian and 92 foreign vine are already on display, one can also find on the territory of the winery a Museum of old Georgian wine-making equipments and other exponents
Shumi has participated in different competitions, where it has taken golden, silver, bronze Medals as well as diplomas and certificates.
