Handwritten Wines

Handwritten sources its Napa Valley District Cabernet Sauvignons from select, two-acre mountain vineyard blocks that showcase each vineyard’s unique terroir. These appellations include Coombsville, Stags Leap, Carneros, Oak Knoll, Calistoga, Rutherford, Mt. Veeder, Howell Mountain and Yountville.

Handwritten's portfolio also includes ‘Three Words’ Cuvée, ‘The Author’ Sauvignon Blanc, Carneros Chardonnay, and our elegant outlier Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir.

Its Yountville cottage experience is unique in that it focuses on small groups of 8 or less in a personalized boutique environment. All wines are pre-poured in advance for a comprehensive side-by-side comparative tasting – moving south to north through the Napa Valley's appellations. Advance reservations are required, with just four seatings per day.
