Hambledon Vineyard
Description
Hambledon Vineyard is England's oldest commercial vineyard planted by Major General Sir Guy Salisbury-Jones in 1952. The Hambledon estate now comprises 50 acres of vineyards and a new gravity- fed, state of the art winery and the only one of its kind in the UK.
In 2010 one of Champagne's leading chef de caves, Herve Jestin, was appointed head winemaker to oversee all winemaking activities. His constant confidence and support has been a major catalyst in the redevolopment of Hambledon Vineyard.
