En Garde Winery

Welcome to En Garde Winery DOUBLE Gold Medal Winner of San Francisco Int'l. Wine Competition. They also were awarded the Top Score out of about 300 Cabernets at the Affairs of the Vine Cabernet Shootout. Their tasting room is known for its Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon and Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. En Garde Winery sources its grapes from the most exclusive vineyards in Napa and Sonoma counties. 

Winemaker/Proprietor Csaba Szakal grew up with wine making in Hungary. His Grandparents owned vineyards and his Father still makes wine there. He started making California wine in his garage in 2001 and his very first effort earned him a Gold Medal. His passion for wine and continuing success encouraged him to start En Garde Winery in 2007.
