Description

The Cumulus Estate vineyard is located near Orange, New South Wales, which lies at the foot of Mount Canobolas, approximately 250km west of Sydney.

Situated on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range, our Region boasts some of Australia’s highest altitude vineyards. The quality of our wine begins in the vineyard with an ancient combination of rich volcanic soils over a limestone base, providing an excellent structure for well-balanced vine growth.

Our 508 hectare vineyard, planted in 1995, gently rises and falls across a range of slopes above and below an elevation of 600m above sea level – thereby uniquely traversing both the Orange and Central Ranges Geographical Indication (GI) wine regions.

Across the Vineyard and Winery estate our dedicated and expert staff grow, harvest, vinify, cellar, bottle and dispatch our finished wines.
Nothing is outsourced – “from bud to bottle”.
Our contemporary labels reflect the character of our vineyard, region, and our artisanship as winemakers.

Once you’ve tasted a wine from Cumulus you’ll never forget the label.
