Château de La Dauphine
Standard Visit & Tasting
Members of the public are welcome to visit the property. First you will discover the park with its 18th century chartreuse and ancient umbrella pines, followed by the technical facilities: a circular tank hall designed around reception of the grapes and a gravity feed system, then the 450-barrel cellar, partially underground and equipped with the OXOline system for stacking barrels. A good marriage of history and the latest technology. The visit ends in the shop with a tasting of our two wines: Château de La Dauphine and Delphis de La Dauphine
Luxury Visit & Tasting
In addition to the standard visit, you can also admire the 11 hectares of parkland from the terrace and then discover the inside of the château built in 1750. Renovated in 2001 after the Halley family bought the property, the original woodwork and decorative features have been meticulously preserved. An opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Princess Maria-Josepha of Saxony, the Dauphine of France.
Visit & Tasting followed by Lunch
Make the most of your visit and finish with a convivial lunch in the Salle des Vendangeurs or on the terrace. Local produce skilfully cooked, accompanied with wines from the property. The visit starts at 11.30am and lunch is served at 12.30pm, Wednesdays only.
Visit & Tasting followed by a Gastronomic Meal at the Table of La Dauphine
A unique chance to jump back to the 18th century, visiting the private rooms of the Château de La Dauphine and sharing a gastronomic meal with your family and friends, in the company of a member of the property’s staff. We offer a complete menu (aperitif, starter, main course, cheese, dessert) based on seasonal produce and cooked on the premises by a chef. The dishes are accompanied by Champagne, wines from the property, and Grande Fine Champagne Cognac 1865 (made by the Halley family and drawn from their personal stock).
