\The Zanger Family of Casa de Fruta is a true success story, blossoming from the roots of the Bisceglia—Cribari immigrant families.

The original ancestors planted the first orchards and vineyards in the Pacheco Valley in 1908. In the 1940’s, Clara Bisceglia Cribari Zanger’s sons, George, Joseph & Eugene Zanger, opened a cherry stand on the Pacheco Pass Highway in the world famous Santa Clara Valley. Casa de Fruta, still a family business, has branched into a variety of agricultural and wine related enterprises.
