CarinaE

This “boutique” winery is situated on the Cruz de Piedra main domain. The name Carinae (Latin, “from Carina”) comes from Philippe´s passion for astronomy. Carina is one of the most beautiful constellations of the southern sky with a multitude of stars.  It appears during the summer nights, particularly during the harvesting season.

The winery possesses a capacity of 260.000 litres that is composed from concrete vats coated with epoxy paint, inside a new building and from two cellars containing more than 250 French oak barrels.  CarinaE has the technology to produce high-quality wines; the great majority aged in french oak barrels.
