Berarte is the result of tradition and modernity. Berarte bottles contains the best selection of the family, the know-how of our ancestors and the commitment of the third generation to offer our customers an excellent glass of wine to enjoy with.

"Berarte Viñedos y Bodegas" is a small family owned winery led by the 3rd generation of our family. We own 14 ha. of vineyards in Rioja Alavesa (mainly) and Rioja Alta, the best regions of the D.O.Ca. Rioja to growth grapes and make wine in Spain. Our flagship grapes are Tempranillo in red and Viura in white.

We make three suberb wines: Berarte, Berarte Crianza and Berarte Reserva. In 2013 we plan to make white wines from our excellent Viura vineyards. After our grandfather, our father has been more than 40 years fully devoted to the vineyards and the wine. In 2012, the third generation of the family took over the lead of Berarte to continue with our ancestors' vision and passion for the wine.
