The Portland Wine Bar

The Portland Wine Bar showcases unique, small ferments from Oregon's Willamette Valley and Columbia Gorge wine regions. They are a wine bar, winery tasting room and wine bottle shop located in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon.

The Portland Wine Bar showcases unique, small ferments from Oregon's Willamette Valley and Columbia Gorge wine regions. They are a wine bar, winery tasting room and wine bottle shop located in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon, right next to Pioneer Courthouse Square. They carry small production, limited quantity, local wines you will not find in a chain grocery store. 

The Portland Wine Bar features their house winery labels, Bodhichitta Winery and Island Mana Wines. Bodhichitta was founded in Salem, Oregon, in 2009, by owner/winemaker, Mark Proden. The Island Mana line was born out of his time in Hawai'i on the Island of Kaua'i. Both labels are locally made in small batches, usually less than 200 cases, with Bodhichitta showcasing local, Oregon grape and dry fruit wines, while the Island Mana label consists of dry, tropical fruit wines (guava, mango, passion fruit, pineapple), some of which are blended with Oregon Pinot gris from the Willamette Valley.

The wine bar also carries other local wines which include The Pines Old Vine Zin and Syrah (Columbia Gorge AVA), Cascade Cliffs Barbera (Columbia Gorge AVA), Memaloose Sauvignon blanc and Cab franc (Columbia Gorge AVA) and many more small batch wines. They offer daily tastings and rotate the wines weekly, skillfully pairing these artisan wines with local cheeses, gourmet chocolates, truffles, cupcakes and even cookies! 

The Portland Wine Bar offers tastings, flights, wine by the glass, bottles of wine, Hawaiian coffee and lavender aromatherapy products. Come relax with a glass of wine while enjoying serene island scenes and a classy Hawaiian vibe or stop by for one their many great events.
