Elvira

Elvira is a white grape variety that originated in the United States. It is a hybrid grape, meaning it was created by cross-breeding different grape varieties. Elvira grapes are known for their hardiness and ability to tolerate cold climates and resist disease, making them a great choice for vineyards in colder regions.

Wines made from Elvira grapes are typically white wines that tend to be sweet, although they can also be used in semi-dry or dry wines. These wines are often light-bodied with fruity flavors such as apple, pear, or citrus. Elvira wines are also known for their high acidity which helps balance their sweetness.

Aside from wine production, Elvira grapes can also be eaten as table grapes or used to make grape juice. Despite its qualities, Elvira is not a very common grape variety and thus wines made from it can be a bit harder to find.
