Aidani

Aidani is a white wine grape variety native to Greece, particularly the islands of Santorini and Paros. The wine produced from this grape is traditionally blended with Athiri and Assyrtiko grapes to produce a sweet, aromatic dessert wine known as Vinsanto. On its own, Aidani wine is typically light with floral and fruity flavors such as pear, peach, and lemon. It is light yellow in color and is known for its strong bouquet, high acidity, and moderate alcohol content. The Aidani grape is a late-ripening variety that prefers dry, warm climates.
