Tierra del Vino de Zamora is a Spanish geographical indication for wines located in the province of Zamora, in the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain. This region is better known for producing red wines, however, white and rosé wines are also produced here.
Covering 56 municipalities, this wine region approximately covers an area of 5,700 hectares of vineyards. The climate of this region is continental with extreme winter cold and summer heat, making the vineyards more suitable for growing Tinta de Toro, Garnacha Tinta, Malvasía, and Verdejo grape varieties.
