Sierra de Salamanca is a mountain range situated in the province of Salamanca, Castilla y León, Spain. It extends from the central part of the Sierra de Béjar mountain range to Portugal's border. This range is part of the larger Sistema Central System. The towering mountains, diverse flora, and fauna, coupled with unforgettable landscapes, make this region a paradise for nature lovers.
In Sierra de Salamanca, you can find wildlife like red squirrels and roe deer, and the flora includes oak and chestnut trees, along with various types of scrubs. It has more vegetal variety in comparison to the other mountain ranges of the Sistema Central due to its low altitude.
