DO Penedès is a wine region, or Denominación de Origen (DO), located in Catalonia, Spain. Penedès DO is known for its production of a wide variety of wines, including red, white, and rosé. However, it's most famous for being the primary region for the production of Cava, which is Spain's traditional sparkling wine.
