Asti is a city located in the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy. It is the capital of the province of Asti and is known for its production of fine wines, particularly Asti Spumante, Moscato d'Asti, and Barbera.
Asti has a rich history dating back to the pre-Roman era and was an important city during the Middle Ages, as evidenced by its many historical monuments and buildings.
