Nettuno is a town and commune in the Metropolitan City of Rome, Lazio, Italy. Named after Neptune, the Roman god of the sea, it is on the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Noteworthy attractions in Nettuno include the Sicily–Rome American Cemetery and Memorial and the Forte Sangallo built in 1503 by Renaissance architect Antonio da Sangallo the Elder. Also significant is the house where it is claimed Thomas Aquinas was born.
