Coteaux de Pierrevert vineyards are spread over four communes: Pierrevert, Manosque, Sainte-Tulle, and Volx. The area is known for producing red, white, and rosé wines, which are composed of different grape varieties. The dominant varieties for red and rosé wines are Grenache and Syrah, while the white wines are generally made from Vermentino (also known as Rolle).
The vineyards are situated in relatively high altitude, making the climate cooler, which differentiates the wines of Coteaux de Pierrevert from the rest of the Provence region.
