Alsace Riesling is a type of white wine produced in the Alsace region of France. The Riesling grape variety originated from Germany, but it flourishes in the unique climate and soil conditions of Alsace, producing a wine that's distinctly different from its German counterparts.
Often considered one of the finest expressions of the Riesling grape, Alsace Riesling is known for its elegant and complex flavors. The wine typically offers a balance of fruity and floral notes, such as citrus, peach, apricot, and jasmine with a distinctive mineral undertone due to the region's terroir, notably its limestone and granite soils.

The Alsace Riesling is bottled in the distinct ‘flûte d’Alsace’ and protected under the Appellation d'Origine Protégée (AOP) status in France, ensuring that only wines produced in the specified area using particular methods can bear the name.
