Lyubimets GCAO is a municipality located in the Haskovo Province in Bulgaria. It covers an area of approximately 423 square kilometers and is home to over 11,000 inhabitants, as of 2016.
The municipality is divided into several towns and villages. The town of Lyubimets is the center of the municipality and is mainly an agricultural area. They cultivate crops such as wheat, maize, sunflower, and grape vineyards. It is also known for its winemaking tradition.
The region has a Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters, making it suitable for agriculture. It has a favorable location close to the borders of Greece and Turkey, benefitting from good transport connections with the rest of the country and with the neighboring nations.
