Nine Lakes of East Tennessee is an American Viticultural Area established by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau on 24 March 2026 under 27 CFR 9.300. It spans roughly 11,255 square kilometres across fourteen counties - Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Roane, Sevier and Union - and takes its name from the chain of reservoirs along the Tennessee River system.
