Ashtabula is a medium-sized city located in the state of Ohio, United States. It is the largest city in Ashtabula County with an estimated population of around 18,000. The city's name comes from the Algonquin language and means "fish river".
Ashtabula is fondly known for its harbour waterfront area with a collection of restaurants, shopping outlets, and marinas. It is also a hub of significant historical locations and houses symbols of earlier periods including the Hubbard House, which was involved in the underground railroad.
