The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail is a collection of wineries and other establishments situated along or near the shores of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York. Established in 1983, it was the first wine trail to be formed in the United States.
The wine trail consists of 14 wineries, a cidery, a meadery, and four distilleries. Each offers their own unique experience from traditional wine tasting to food and wine pairing events. The wineries highlight the region's award-winning wines, with famous varietals including Riesling, Cabernet Franc, and Ice Wines.
In addition to wine related attractions, Cayuga lake wine trail also houses several eateries, souvenir shops and mesmerizing views of vineyards along the largest of the Finger Lakes.
