Established in 1984 by founder Nick Holmes, today Shottesbrooke is proudly an estate grown and managed boutique winery. Winemaker Hamish Maguire focuses on producing fruit forward wines, intense in varietal character in the big, full bodied style for which McLaren Vale is famous, whilst adding a Shottesbrooke touch of style and elegance. Situated in McLaren Flat, visitors are invited to come and be guided through our diverse range of wines with our passionate, experienced staff. Or take some time out to unwind in the delightful courtyard over a glass of wine, while taking in the spectacular views of the vineyards and surrounding Mount Lofty Ranges. The rustic ‘Pickers Hut’ is also available to hire for groups looking to come together and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of picnicking beside the delightful creek that runs through the property.
