Summerside Vineyards and Winery

Summerside Vineyards was founded in 1999 as a bed and breakfast and was located on Grand Lake before moving in 2003 with the winery to its present location on Historic Rt 66 in Vinita, Oklahoma.

Summerside Vineyards, Winery & Meadery is currently located on Historic Rt 66 and I-44 (exit 289) in Vinita. It officially started in 2000, and in 2002 became a licensed Oklahoma winery and in 2008 started producing mead (wine made from honey).

Summerside Vineyard’s four acre vineyard is located in Ketchum, OK,, near the banks of Grand Lake O’ the Cherokee. Two estates grapes are grown there: the Cynthiana, a Native American hybrid red grape; and the Vignoles, a French-American hybrid white varietal. Our estate Chambourcin Grape is grown in our Rt 66 Vineyard at the location of our tasting room, gift shop, and cellar. We are conveniently located on historic Route 66, a great Oklahoma destination! It’s worth the drive to tour our winery and taste our fine Oklahoma wines.
