Our AOC range

We produce a wide range of Bordeaux wines: red Bordeaux & Bordeaux Supérieur, white Bordeaux, Entredeux-Mers, Bordeaux rosé & Clairet. Our wines are exclusively made from grapes of our own vines & estate bottled.

History of our family estate

Château Ballan-Larquette & Domaine de Ricaud are family owned from generations. Vignobles Chaigne et Fils was created as a company in 1992 when the actual manager Régis Chaigne joined his parents on the family estate. Château Peynaud was bought in 1994 from a retired producer without successors.

7 hectares of red vines planted on an excellent terroir were acquired in 2009.

The estate is now growing 42 hectares of very well exposed vines (red : 35 hectares, white : 7 hectares).
