Anderson Creek is located within the Anderson Valley just outside the town of Booneville. Planted mostly on hillside slopes with a southern sun exposure, Anderson Creek takes advantage of the long and cool growing season that make the Anderson Valley a world-class region for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Premier Pacific Vineyards develops and manages vineyard estates following the best practices laid out in California’s Code of Sustainable Winegrowing Practices. This less intrusive approach of sustainable winegrowing is more environmentally responsible and increasingly recognized as vital to a terroir-based winegrowing philosophy, which we embrace.

We also employ state-of-the-art management techniques that in their entirety are commonly referred to as Precision Viticulture. These practices have been applied from the earliest stages in the development process and extend to day-to- day management decisions.

Some of the Precision Viticulture principles we employ include:

  • Vigor control through proper site selection and rigorous matching of rootstock to soil

  • Vineyard longevity through use of highest quality plant material

  • Advanced methods to identify optimum vine density

  • Vertical shoot positioning

  • Balanced pruning methods

  • Regulated Deficit Irrigation (RDI)

Our adherence to the principles of Sustainable Winegrowing Practices and Precision Viticulture is about growing vineyards that produce wines of distinction now and for many years to come.
